Mend Hotpoint BWM 129 Washing Machine Noisy Spin Cycle

Noisy on spin cycle?

Hi my Hotpoint BWM 129 washing machine has suddenly started making a very loud noise during the spin cycle the machine is about 7 years old and has been fault free until now. is it time to buy new.

Probably drum bearings. These CAN be replaced but its a pig of a job and, as you suggest, it's probably time for a shiny new machine.
