ehs6610k ceramic hob one ring runs at full temp when unit switched on?

i have a electrolux ehs 6610k ceramic hob wich when turned on one of the rings operates at full temp, and cannot be varied by touch control unit, its only one ring but as you can imagine it becomes very hot and is dangerous, can any one help..thanks jim

if this is fully electronic then it could be either the contacts on therelay on the pcb is welded over or the themostat is faulty. either of these problems would very probably require diagnostics and repairs not possible over the internet and probably not an easy fix. sorry this isnt what you needed to hear :(
