Mend Whirlpool schott ceran Ring Ceramic Hob

Ring not working on whirlpool ceramic hob?

I have a whirlpool schott ceran touch control ceramic hob. One of the rings will not heat up. Light working on the buttons to show power level. All other rings working. Does anyone have any ideas??
