How do I remove the Ceramic Hob so that I can replace Solar Glow ring?

o i forgot to say remove the knobs first , they just pull straight up. and make sure power is switched off

Remove hob from worktop sit same on top of worktop,
you will see screws all around the side of hob , this is what holds the glass frame to the base of the hob. remove approx 8 screws and lift of glass this reveals the elements . it might not be the element it might be a simmerstat which controls the hotplate ,
