how can I fix my ge model dvl223 electirc dryer?

The electrical schematic is hidden inside the control panel. The control panel where the knobs are mounted is attached by four screws at the top, and by clips on the top surface. Remove the top surface of the dryer by pressing (slip a thin screwdriver into the crack and push back - no prying needed) the hidden clips at the front left and right corners where the top panel and front panel meet. Then remove the four screws on the panel. The schematics are folded into a slot inside.
