Mend Black and Decker 7935 Repair Hammer And

How do I remove the drill chuck and repair it? #7935 type 3, 3.6 amps ?

I have an older 1/2" Black and Decker 2 speed hammer drill. The chuck is partly open but won't budge either direction. It's stuck in approximately 3/8" diameter opening. My questions are, how do I remove it, can chucks be repaired and if necessary, can I purchase a new chuck for it?

hi jack,if you look in side the chuck you should see a phillips screw this has a left hand thread remove screw then unscrew the chuck right hand thread may need some force.best of luck
