Mend Vcr Tape Eject

wont play?

first it ate the tape now itwont play after i cleaned it. when i put the tape in it sits there and after i slightly push on it , it will go in proceed to play then it powers off and the tape in light proceeds to flash if i push power on button it will eject itself. favor for grandma stuck in vhs video world.
