Mend Singer Tempo 50 Machine Material

The feed dogs on my Singer Tempo 50 seem to have dropped?

My sewing machine has come to a halt. The material will not feed and the needle just goes up and down in the one place leaving large knots underneath. I think the feed dogs have dropped but cannot see anyway to get them back up.

Hello Dolly,
You will have to take the bottom off the machine under the teeth if you can and you will see an adjusting screw to raise the teeth, if you have taken the needle plate off lately make sure you have it back on properly, very common fault.
