how do i fix my ford escort td 1996 it starts fine and runs ok at first then when it warms up it starts running a bit rough and it kicks out blue smoke but yet its still got plenty of power and the blue smoke goes away when i put my foot down.
well mate. i have exactly the same problem. i have only just bought this car even though i cant go wrong for £122. change the oil and filters and fuel filter. get the injectors cleaned and give it a good thrashing when warm. i havent done this but in my thery, it might just work.

Two points: Uless you intend burying it try the vehilces section at bottom end of forum categories.
