Mend Sovereign 35 Classic Starts Fine Minutes

how can I fix my Sovereign petrol lawnmower?

My Sovereign 35 Classic petrol mower starts fine but after running for about 5 minutes it cuts out. It will restart after it cools down bit keeps cutting out when it reheats? I have replaced the air filter and checked the oil which seems fine.

i would suspect the coil if you check for spark after it cuts out i would think you wont have one untill it cools down part is about £30 ish

No - tried this but still have the problem - it seems to be temperature but thanks for the advice anyway Phil

Sounds like a blocked fuel cap vent - allowing a vacuum to form in the tank = no fuel!

To check, next time it stops, remove the cap and immediately re-start. If it runs, you found the problem!
