how do I clean the filter on my Hotpoint WD420 I have clean the machine so much but can't locate the filter

HI, HAD LOTS OF PROBLEMS WITH IT LEAKS ON MOST WASHES!!! THE WHITE PLATE ON THE BACK OF MACHINE, TAKE IT OFF AND YOU WILL FIND A LARGE BLACK HOSE ATTATCHED TO THE DRUM REMOVE THE JUBILEE CLIP AND THE FILTER IS INSIDE THE HOSE.WE FOUND LARGE AMOUNT OF FLUFF A DISPOSABLE GLOVE, 2.50 IN COINS AND LOTS OF BITS OF PAPER!!! NO WONDER IT WAS LEAKING!! HOPE THIS HELPS, IT HAS CURED MY LEAKS.
