Mend Hoover 550ma Washing Machine Filter Problem

Hoover550ma?

All the clothes come out of the washer with many bits on them, i have cleaned the filter which is beneath the conditioner compartment after every wash but the problem continues.I bought the machine second hand and didn't know about this filter until I began to get bitty clothes so I think I caused this problem.I can not see another filter so hopefully you can help.I have washed the machine out using bicarb but this does not seem to help. Hope you can help Dianne

You may have to get someone out to fix. Sounds like the inner bowl needs to be removed and cleaned properly. The build up on the outside of it blocks the small holes and stops the lint from going through ready to be flushed away.
