Mend Concept Advanced Microprocessor Alarm Problem Turn Work

What is the problem?

I have a Concept Advanced Microprocessor Alarm system and had occasion to turn off the power as I was doing some work on an electrical socket. When the power was switched on again, although all of the PIR sensors are working and the DAY an POWER leds are illuminated on the panel, the keypad is dead. Could this be the battery? The system is about 15 years old.

switch off the power to the panel ,open it up and remove the battery, switch the power back on ,type in your code,put the panel lid back on.this should sort it,when you get a chance fit a new battery ,
