Scantronic 9651 alarm problem - Arming key problem?

The key pad tone and double beep have gone so quiet I can hardly hear them. The alarm operates ok but it's re-assuring to hear the beeps etc. Any ideas?

what does the keypad say?did you fit the system yourself?the system can be prog for timed set,final door set,or press button outside to set,or shunt lock,you have a very good panel,so i would check the proggraming of it,when you key in your pin,you should get cont tone excpt when you open the exit door,also check that you have enough time to exit,is there a pir in area of exit that is picking you up as you leave?if the panel times out before you close the door then the panel will not set,and you will get a warning tone from exten speaker,if fitted

I can only imagine the exit door contact has failed, or there is another detection device open/ failed, hence why your unable to set.
