GE Profile washer is agitating slowly and not spinning. What’s wrong?

GE Profile washer is agitating slowly and not spinning. Model number is WPSQ3120T2WW. The problem started at the beginning of the wash cycle of a light load of clothes. I can spin the basket manually by turning the belt. Nothing seems to be jammed.

Any clues?

I found the solution to this problem through a post on a different web site. It turns out the clutch clip had come off.
I found the clip and put it back on and my machine is working again.
