servis washing machine it stops before cycle complete?

i bought a servis washing machine from littlewoods cateloguei received washer on 4th sept and it broke down on 2nd october engineer came 5th oct .. he said he found a 5pence piece in the filter so he told me that was the cause.... on 23rd oct machine broke again [ and the same as 1st time the water was pumping out the front of machine all over my kitchen floor ] the machine had only just begun its cycle so the wash had just started .. it is a computerised machine so it wouldnt rinse or spin at all .. engineer came on 24th oct . he stood 4or 5 feet away from machine with just a pen and paper in his hand [ no tools ] he then told me there was no fault with machine and i was using wrong cycle [ quick wash ] he gave me no reason as to why the machine flooded my kitcen [ twice] but he did tell me that the 5 pence piece would not have caused the problem the 1st time machine broke .... could you please tell me if i can expect servis to replace machine as i cannot leave my kitchen while machie s on in case it floods again
