Mend Kenmore Sewing Machine Stitch Bobbin

the bobbin, I think?

In using my daughter's Kenmore sm, it has begun to skip making a proper stitch about every 4th or 5th stitch. I assume it is the bobbin that needs adjusting. It has been so long since I've been friends with a sewing machine, I've forgotten how to adjust the bobbin correctly. The owners manual is missing.

Hello Patty,
try a new needle first and if it still misses stitches you will need to retime the machine, I can attach timing instructions if you e-mail me.
