Problem with Brother XL-4011 sewing machine?

on the handwheel there is also a smaller wheel with little screw that you must remove and then remove small wheel by turning anticlock.now you will see a tri shape washer,remove but look at position and do not turn handwheel,clean this washer and refit with high part towards outer side,refit small wheel and turn clockwise until stop,refit screw and turn small wheel anticlock again,it should move at least 10mm before it stop,if not remove and refit washer in different way,by tightening the small wheel you should now be able to sew
