Mend Craftsman 42 inch Tractor Deck Blades

Leveling the mower deck on a Craftsman?

Any suggestions on how to level the mower deck on a Craftsman 42 inch cut lawn tractor to stop uneven cut? I changed blades and now it cuts a deep grove on one side.

My vented mandrel housing was cracked on my mower, along with numerous other problems, do to age and hard use. The damage involved was making one side cut lower then the other, and the mower deck itself was warped. I now have a whole new mower deck, unfortunately the manual disappeared . Presumably went out with the trash...
Any chance the information needed to level the replacement deck is on line?

Don; Do you have the operation manual for the mower? if so there is a section in it that will tell you how to level your mower. I need mort information to help. Like did you hit anything befor you changed the blades? Are you sure that you have the blades installed right. As one may be upside down and thats your problem!
What did you adjust if anything to remove the blades? I'll check back soon and see how things go.
