westwood gazelle w11?

hi i would like buy a deck for my mower it has a 36 inch cut with twin blades , not sure of the age but i have been told that itis old , it is an exellent mower that starts first time everytime and runs sweet it is just that the cutting deck has rotted out i would travel any distance to collect new or second hand i dont mind just dont want to throw the tractor away yet as it is in exellent condition , the mower is an westwood gazelle w11 11 horse power twin cutter any help would be great many thanx for reading chris

Hello,

I have a Westwood Gazelle which has a 11hp Briggs and Stratton engine. I would like to get it going as fast as I can possibly get it. Also I would like to know what breaks i need for it, how to fit them and where to get them. Can anybody help?

Hi Chris, Only just found this site and your question, probably long solved by now. Best plan is to find a metal fabrication company and get them to make you up a new deck outta decent sheet steel using the existing Westwood components IE cutters, bearings belts etc. I did my own very successfully and I think it will now outlast the tractor!
