I inherited a pfaff creative sewing machine 1471. It is in brand new condition because previous owner did not like electronic things and her husband bought it for her.

My problem is this: All the lights light up, but the display is empty. I can not turn on or off any of the lights. It is only 110 volts so it has no fuse.

Everything in and around the machine is clean; it has been kept covered.

Help I really want to use this to sew my wedding dress! thanks!!!!!!!

How do you replace the hand wheel and belt? The pressure foot did not disengage while winding the bobbin . Now the hand wheel is broken.

Hello Karen,
There still may be an in line fuse in the machine on one of the control boards, usually on the boards near where the mains plug is, you will have to get into the machine and check the boards.
