Tecumseh Vantage 35?

My Vantage 35 mower is hunting whilst running, I have cleaned the carb numerous times and adjusted the choke linkage to increase the running speed, cleaned all terminals on the coil and flywheel, and replaced the spark plug but the linkage is still bouncing whilst running, is there anything else I should be looking for?

Tecumseh Vantage 35 uses a four stroke motor, so it should run good on regular unleaded petrol/gas.

just inherited a tecumseh vantage 35. Never used a petrol mower, what type of fuel does it use i.e does ordinary unleaded suffice? or is there a special mix, (pardon my ignorance here) What type of oil ? / any special service or maintainance

Hi,I done the same thing,and after many searches i found one place that should help you,They are called Bartram Mowers ltd phone no' 01603 458916. If they cant help,then they will put you in the right direction,also i think you could buy a brand new complete tecumseh vantage 35engine,for roughly less than £40.00 including p/p.so if you are interested please let me know.So find out the price,as it may be cheeper to replace the engine,and you will have the old one for spares.if i can help any more,then send me an e-mail,and headed with the words Tecumseh Vantage 35,to glubthesub@tiscali.co.uk.
