how can a fix a vantage 35 tecumseh?

i have a vantage 35 tecumseh petrol lawnmower. the coil has came apart off the top the lawnmower which won,t allow the pull cord to start up the mower. could anyone let me know where i could get this fixed or where i could by a replacement..... thankyou

Complete recoil assemblies are available. There are 3 types, depending on production date - easily distinguishable. Type 1 is held on with 4 nuts or bolts on the top of the engine. Type 2 is held on with 2 small self tapping screws with a 1/4" hex head, screwed into the side of the starter unit, holding it to the cowling. These may be hidden by a plastic bezel. Type 3 is an integral part of the cowling, and a repair kit is available (which will also repair a type 2 unit). A type 1 repair kit is (or at least was) available. Ebay is a universal source for this kind of part. You might get a complete engine for the cost of a new recoil unit!
