Is it ok to?

Is it ok to attach a Playstion 2 console to my 37 " Hitachi TV Model number 37LD8D20U. I have heard that it can sometimes damage the screen. PS. it is not a plasma.

It ok, plasmas are cr*p for playing consoles as the image can get burned in, Liquid Crystal Display dont get burned in.

no different from attaching a dvd to it, the playstaion has a screen saver on it that will come on when not in use , like your dvd player ,
