My tv is stuck on stand by and i need to know how to fix it?

samsung LCD plasma television,model number-LE40A457C1D.The tv is stuck on stand by and i cant get it off.

my technosonic 3251 has a problem when I is put on standby it won't come back on I have unplugged it and left it unplugged for a while and still nothing it seems that when you turn it on and the led will flash once and it wont come on but if the led doesnt flash it will. Please help MW3 awaits.
