creda dishwasher will not fill?

Not entirely sure how I fixed this , however here goes, Firstly turned off the appliance at the mains.
Took the front panel off (bottom of the machine four cross head screws) pulled the small black wire connector block off of the pump on the bottom right hand side on the washer and pushed it back on, tested all the visible wire connectors by just ensuring they were securely attached, no obviousl loose ones.
Retried the washer and seemed to solve the issue.!
