Dishwasher suddenly failed?

Bosch Aquastar 6.5L Dishwasher. Machine 'dead'! No lights on control panel which has been playing up for a few days. Water in bottom of machine. Taken drain hose off at back of machine but nothing came out. Managed to blow through into machine but still no water draining out. Checked power to machine - ok. Visually checked control board - no signs of any arcing. Help please - birthday party on Friday - machine essential! This machine doesn't show error codes for some reason - never has.
