not taking water?

i have a electrolux DX302WL dishwasher which dose not take water. The inlet valve is working.

If the inlet valve is working as you say and if water does not enter the machine then no water is being presented to the inlet valve - unless there's an obstruction in the pipework which is very doubtful.
