how to fix a microwave?

My husband was using the microwave and a fuse blew. Now it doesn't turn on at all. How can I fix it?

PLEASE, if you are not a trained engineer DO NOT attempt to dismantle a Microwave.
They can be very dangerous even when unplugged

Long time ago, I had a similar problem. So I bought a new one and gave the old one to my neighbour's sone who could use the parts. This clever boy checked the big condensators and found a bad one. He bought a new condensator in an electronics shop for 50 euros and as a result had a almost new microwave. These electrolite-condensators have a much shorter life than most electronic parts.Remove the power from the apparate and leave it half an hour to let the power drop from the
condensators. Then check them for burns or bubbels.
Good luck !

Replace the fuse and try again (use a 13 amp fuse). If it blows once more then obviously there is an internal fault, probably with the magnetron unit itself. Unfortunately due to the safety issues with microwave radiation, DIY pursuits are not recommended and parts are very difficult to buy for the public.
