THE 2 AMP FUSE KEEPS BLOWING?

GOT UP IN THE MORNING, NO POWER? CHECKED PLUG THEN FOUND 2 AMP INTERNAL FUSE BLOWN. REPLACED IT. AS SOON AS I TRIED TO TURN ON HOT WATER FUSE BLEW AGAIN, TRIED IT AGAIN, STILL BLEW

no clues on make model or even type however it will usually be either fan, pump, gas valve, boiler stat.

delete anything inapplicable due to no clues given :)
