Mend Light Turned Switch Fuse

Help with lights?

I have just fitted a new ceiling light, the light worked fine but as soon as i turned the switch the fuse blew, i have replaced the fuse wire but none of the lights in the house turn on now, all the fuses are fine, just seeking some advice before i ring a sparky.

D.I.Y, Lighting Light Turned Switch Fuse

At the ceiling you have connected Switched Live directly to Neutral with no lamp as a load... When you put the switch on a short circuit blows the fuse.

It should be like this...
