I HAVE CHANGED THE WASTE INK PADS IN MY EPSON R360 BUT CANNOT GET IT TO RESTART. ALL I HAVE IS 3 RED FLASHING LIGHTS AND THE MESSAGE TURN OFF. HOW DO I RESET THE PRINTER?
Use the SSC Service Utility, you can google it for free, although it says it's not supported (r360) and doesn't work on Vista, it did install for me (on Vista) and it reset the printer

I need to thank somebody, on this thread I believe, for advice that flat-out worked, but I can't find your post to identify you. Do hope you see this or that someone passes it along to you. I had struggled doggedly but unsuccessfully to get my excellent little old Epson Stylus Color 670 back in service after washing the waste ink pads. You said WITH THE PRINTER OFF, PRESS THE PAPER AND INK BUTTONS, THEN POWER ON ... HOLD THE PAPER AND INK BUTTONS UNTIL THE PAPER LIGHT ONLY FLASHES ... THEN PRESS AND HOLD THE INK BUTTON UNTIL IT RESETS (ABOUT 10 SECONDS). It worked! Let me know if you see this.

Epson put a limit on the number of prints allowed before they reckon the waste-ink pads need replacing (or, at least, examining). Some dealers registered with Epson have access to special software which can (amongst the diagnostics, etc) reset these counters. Look for an Epson Express dealer. Charges vary. In Wellington, Shropshire, printers in warranty are serviced free. Out of warranty usually costs twelve quid - but that includes a full service.
