Washing machine beeps and flashes lights at rinse cycle?
Its a top loader 7.kg fisher and paykel that stops, beeps and flashes on rinse cycle. there is no water left in the drum. It has eight lights on the panel, number 3 green, 5 green, 7 orange(rinse) and 8 red (spin) flash. Is this the error code. Can you tell me what the problem may be?
Yes that is the error code 43 which means the out of balance switch is faulty. This switch is inside the control panel underneath the right hand end of the main control board. You have to remove the main control board to gain access to the microswitch which will probably be corroded & sticking. The 2 wires can go back on the new switch either way around.
