Probably an obvious question but how do I start my Technika portable DVD TV combo when the red standby light is flashing? I've only had the unit for a bit and hardly use it but one night I left it on standby and the next morning the red light was flashing and it wouldn't switch on! Thanks
If it's in warranty (you haven't said) take it to the retailer, or contact them for support.
Else, take to repair shop for estimate

The one thing to try is holding in the standby button on the unit as you turn the plug on. If this doesnt work its classed as a dead unit and returned. so if in warranty ring tesco electrical helpline if not its time to talk to trading standards

The flashing light is likely to be a fault code to help the technician diagnose the fault.
