I have a technika lcd40-920 when powered on it just keeps flashing blue. I believe this is due to it trying to auto update? I've tried switching it off at the wall countless times but with no joy. Is there a sequence when powering on that I need to be following? Any help would be much appreciated.
I had the same problem with my technika lcd40-920. the problem is the capacitors on the power board, they need replacing. I had to replace 5 on mine, it works fine now :) cost me less than £7 for the parts :)

Power board or main board failure.Try reset.--Unplug tv from wall plug and then hold power button on tv for 60 seconds. Let tv sit for 10 minutes. Then plug in and turn on.
