my dvd player has recently started having problems such as the buttons will not work so i can nt watch any film :( does anyone know how to fix it?

You cant repair the laser they are giving out low power. You might although be able to adjust the littlle trimer on the laser assy. Use only small moverments this will some times give a little extra life. But the assy should be repaced really
