Mend Panasonic MC-E3001 Vacuum Cleaner

How can i fix my Panasonic vacuum Cleaner 1700w lightweight MC-E3001?

I have a Panasonic 1700 lightweight MCE3001 cleaner
It keeps cutting out when in use sometimes after a minute sometimes after five. If i leave it a while it will restart-Could it be over heating? and if so what to do

The brushes are not rotating and I am not sure about the presence of a belt - cannot see one from underneath - but totally no expert !

I don't have an answer yet, but I have the same problem. I am presuming it is a fault with the thermal cut-out unit. Perhaps the contacts. I'll have to find out.
