Mend Singer 9005 Sewing Machine Fix

singer 9005 bobbin trouble?

The latch that holds my bobbin case in place slipps off when I begin sewing, can I fix this problem myself??

Hello Lisa,
If you mean the little metal finger on the left hand side you should just be able to tighten the screw up.
