how do you replace a pull string on a craftsman 6.0 lwanmower?

I need to know how to replace the string on my craftsman 6.0 hp mower. i took the top cover off, the part that hold the string is riveted on. where do I go from here?

You will need to rewind the recoil and put new rope in and let it pull it in .....after you recoil ..hold it in place with a set of vise grips and put new rope in and release grips and let it pull rope back in .......and install handle ....
