Mend Whirlpool WMA745S Washing Machine Reset Fix

how can i fix my washing machine WMA745S?

my washing machine seems to have crashed we have unplugged it over night and turned it back on but still does not work i have been told it needs to be reset how do i reset it other than turning it off and back on again
