Mend Indesit WG1234T Washing Machine Stops

INDESIT WG1234T NOT SPINNING CORRECTLY?

WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS PROBLEM?
MY WASHING MACHINE GOES INTO SPIN MODE BUT STOPS JUST AFTER IT STARTS IT THEN TRIES AGAIN AND THEN STOPS.IT WASHES OK, JUST PROBLEM WITH SPIN MODE
THERE IS A BUTTON ON FRONT OF MACHINE FOR SLOW OR FAST SPIN BUT IT DOES THE SAME IN EITHER SETTING, WILL NOT SPIN CORRECTLY.THIS PROBLEM SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN CAUSED AFTER MOVING THE WASHING MACHINE FROM ONE HOUSE TO ANOTHER. IT WAS WORKING OK BEFORE THE MOVE

Hi All

Just had same problem on my Indesit WG 1233 TG

When it got to number 7 on its cycle for fast spin it would just stop.

Indesit said I needed a new timer which would set me back 90.00 plus delivery and vat. YEAH RIGHT!!

I was lucky...the mother in law has got the same washer so I first tried her timer on my machine and it was exactly the same.

Blew down the tube from the presure switch as suggested on this site (take the lid off the washer and just behind the timer to the right you will see a large round unit with a black pipe attached to it. Remove the pipe and give it a good blow).... cleared a blockage....Bingo now runs like a dream. Thanks guys.

Thanks for the tip. I had the same problem with my Indesit Machine(WG 1033t).I have just blown down the tube and hey presto, now it works ok.
I'll remember this for next time.

I had a similar problem with my WG1130T and I found that the tube to the water level pressure switch was slightly blocked so it thought the water level was too high to go into fast spin. I blew down the tube and it appears to be OK now. Hope this helps with your problem. John.
