I need to fix my tumble dryer, Hoover, TV630. It won't stay on!?
I am having a problem with a Hoover TV630. It won't stay on. The machine will work if the 'ON' switch is kept pressed in. Once you let go of the switch the machine will stop. I first thought the switch was at fault. This isn't the case. Any suggestions please
We had the same problem, it was not the switch but a small circuit board which we found by doing a search on uk white goods

We found the same problem with our TV630 this morning. Took the front & top off it to get at the on/off switch and it's broken. You need to get a replacement switch (should be around £10 or so) from an appliance spares shop, and I think it just plugs in.

problem is switch it should click and hold check on espares on the web for your part or ring hoover for part about a 5.00 pound,
