How can I fix the outside ringer on my Optima XL6?

You cannot inavertantly silence the external ringer on this alarm unless you have disconnected it from inside the panel.

Try the bell test as follows:-
From "Day Mode" (Unset mode) enter programming mode by pressing Prog (all lights come on) and then entering your 4 digit code (Day and Tamper lights come on).

Then enter Alarm Test Mode by pressing "0".

Now press "2" to test the strobe light ("0" to stop)

Now press "3" to test the external siren ("0" to stop)

Now press "4" to test the low volume internal sounder ("0" to stop)

Now press "2 4" to test the high volume internal sounder ("0" to stop

Now press "5" to enter "walk test" ("0" to stop)

Finally press "Reset" TWICE to return to normal "Day Mode)

It the external sounder does not sound, then it may be faulty, the wiring may be faulty, or the internal battery in the sounder may need to be replaced (Beware - removing the sounder from the wall may cause it to go off)
