Having just moved to my new property the Optima XM6 Alarm does not work it. The power light and tamper light are both red and the number pad does not respond.
The previous owner didn't use the alarm and lost the code years ago but im keen to use it for my piece of mind. Any ideas on how to reset the system with out blowing myself or my family up.
this cause here is a tamper you need to check all the sensors in your house that there attached proper if you fee llike opening them strech the springs check the bell box outside that it is working flashing and sounding and keep trying reset if still nothing ipen the panel check all the fuses that they are not gone if they are replace get back to me if any of this helps if not i can give your more information
