Mend Ford Transit M Reg Replaced Worked Fine

where is the relay on a ford transit m reg for the heater speed?

i have just replaced the heater fan on my transit with a new one and i tried it first to make sure it worked fine put it in and it dont work.a friend told me there is a relay but we dont no where it is as it isnt in fuse box .anyone got any ideas

Right problem with these is generally the resistor rots which is behind the drivers headlight resulting in only speed 3 working, it will work like this for a short while but it will after a while melt the switch and the wiring to it.
