Replaced the hose on my shark vacuum now it is making a very loud noise?

Well there was no whistling with the old hose but there is whistling with the new one. Chances are it's the new hose that making the loud whistling noise - if you operate the machine with and without its hose then you'll know.

If air passes through a restriction it often makes a whistling sound - you might do well to closely examine the new hose for a partial obstruction.
