Neff built in oven?

neff electric oven B1432N2GB/01. The fan and element appeared to have failed, the grill still worked. Just replaced the fan and element but they do not work and the grill no longer works. There is power to the oven. I did notice when I removed the rear panel that some of the insulation on the wires and some of the other materials had been burned. The control panel appears to be fine. Are any other components likely to have failed, should I test the wiring with a meter or is it likely that the oven is beyond economic repair?
