I have just replaced a faulty pir that was damaged during some decorating work and now there is no 12 v output from the panel so now none of the pir's work! I have checked all the fuses with a meter and they are all good. When the pir was damaged I disconnected it from the system and the alarm, including the other pir's, worked fine. Help!
Ok, I'll check the fuses again. Thanks for the advice.

Seen a fuse show continuity and still not allow power through,
Change the fuses

The battery is new and fine, the transformer output is more than 12V (17/18) I can't remember exactly.

Duff battery me thinks.
Not happy with the output voltage from the tranny though should be kicking out around 16.5 v

Thanks for the reply. The panel is a Veritas R8 and I have checked the 12V output terminals and there is nothing there.
230V present at incoming terminals.
12V present at input terminals on PCB from the transformer.
12V present at output fuse clips and fuse continuity checked.

There is a fuse gone still.
Check the actual ouptuts this will give you more of a clue as to which one.
