TV Screen takes 2-3 minutes to light up?

Thomson 28WF45UG TV bought 5 years ago. When switched on, the indicator light flashes 2:6 times for a few minutes before the screen lights up. How can i fix it? Thanks in advance

We have exactly the same problem with ours. Nothing seems to change it. I did "google" it some months ago and it seems the 2-6 is a diagnostic code but I couldn't find a list showing what this means.
