Mend Servis M3000CWS/M Bearing Washing Machine Repair

What is the grinding noise in my Servis 1000 washing machine?

I have a SERVIS 1000 washing machine. Model M3000CWS/M.

There is a grinding noise everytime the drum turns.

I have taken the back off the machine and it looks like the main bearing on the drum that is making the noise.

How to I get at the bearing in order to repair / replace it?

Hello Mark,
Chances are it will be the bearing, you can fit bearing yourself but believe me it is not easy, you will have to take the main drum out and half the machine, unless water is leaking onto the floor or into the washing machine I would suffer it until you are ready to get a new one, service repair charges are as much a a new machine.
